Capturing Memories this Holiday Season with Portrait Innovations

Now that I am a mother, I know the truth behind “time flies” and “they grow up before your eye”. These past 8 years of being a mom as flown by so fast. And with life being always busy, it’s hard to capture every moment. I can speak on this personally, the past two years we haven’t had any professional photos of my son. Not school, not at a portrait studio or even by a professional photographer. Needless, to say, my mother is constantly asking me when I am getting photos taken. Luckily I’ve partnered with Portrait Innovations to get some holiday photos taken of my little, so I am sure a smile will be on my mothers face this holiday season.

Our Experience

This was my first time to Portrait Innovations and I was beyond pleased with the service that we experienced. We were seen immediately after being asked on what I wanted for the session. Our photographer was amazing to say the least. She knew exactly how to position him and which backgrounds would look great with what he was wearing.  And one of the best parts, it was quick! We spent maybe 20 minutes taking photos before getting to the editing stage.

Now, if you’ve ever been to a portrait studio before, then you’ll know that the most time-consuming part of the process is the editing and choosing which photos you like the most. If you’re a parent, then you genuinely like all of them. Our photographer made it so much easier for us. Instead of just going in and you choosing which ones you like, she divided it up into three’s and I chose which one I would like from those 3. From there you will eliminate additional photos so that you get the poses for which your package allows (unless you want additional). We were lucky enough to have a great photographer with an amazing eye, which made this usual long process not long at all. Fortunately, a CD of our session is included with our package, so for those photos I didn’t get, I now have access to.

Remember when I mentioned I have never been to Portrait Innovations? Well I didn’t realize how the process went. Before I left, the associate told me that our package would be ready in an hour. I had no clue that they print the photos right there in the studio! It was a great surprise to know that I would be receiving our photos that quickly. I am use to waiting for a few weeks and then having to get back and get them. This is huge for me and has completely sold me on using Portrait Studio to capture of future special moments. The fact that they were so great, professional, speedy and I can get the photos the same day makes Portrait Innovations my match made portrait studio.
